Zebra N Lion Cookies by PlummyPress Zebra N Lion Cookies by PlummyPress
Zebra and Lion cookies. Someone bought the lion, but nobody bought the zebra. What gives, shoppers?

Hey, quick question....do you also custom cookie cutters for these?

No, we just have a wide variety of cutters. Many of them are Cookies By Design trademarked, so if our store were to close, the boss would have to send them back. We have quite a few cutters though, and can usually find a cutter to work for whatever we want to do.

Ahhh, I see. That's cool. I've been trying to figure out where I can have customer cookie cutters created with my own designs at a reasonable price.

Urg. That sounds like an expensive venture.
Are you guys going to start offering Identity cookies?

Nah, no more Identity. :( To be honest, I think Rashad's given up on the project.

I'm actually close(ish) to releasing a one-shot, original comic. I'll be starting linework and coloring next month. I've got all the pages penciled, scanned and should finish the basic lettering today. Yay!

But this cookie thing is an unrelated project. It probably would cost more to start-up than a comic...but would also have much higher profit potential... And would only take about the same time frame as a comic issue... I'm thinking of creating/publishing a naughty cookie book, mostly for selling at cons.

OooOOOoo! Well, I've found that if you cut a shape out of the dough with a knife or one of those icing spatulas, the cookie keeps that shape after baking. If you're going to repeat the shape alot it isn't practical. But, if you're just making a single cookie that looks like a butt or whatever, it'll work well.
