For the March :iconglenmetropolis: event-
CosmiCat often sneaks in to the Glenmetropolis Animal Rescue and Shelter building to distribute kitty treats and encouraging words (spoken, of course, in feline) to the cats who call the building their temporary home. He also wants to keep tabs on any cats who might vivify* while in the shelter.
He was patrolling the city one day to see several strange spheres descend from the sky, and emit strange lights on several buildings, one of which was the Rescue and Shelter building. He hauled tail to the building, but the spherical craft left just as Cosmo set paw on the property.
He made a quick check in and around the building, to find that it and it's inhabitants didn't seem to have been harmed in any way. The cats inside told Cosmo that they had a sense that 'something was happening' but they had no idea what. The dogs just barked at him, and the humans didn't seem to have noticed anything had happened at all.
*when an animal vivifies, it gains a sturdier metabolism and human-level intelligence. Vivified animals attempt to keep this a secret from humanity in general- and CosmiCat does a pretty poor job of it.

This really does look like a job for CosmiCat.

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird... oh God. It's no longer a bird, because there's also a flying cat. Oh gruesome Mother Nature.

As I said, this is amazing! The lighting effect coming from the sphere's beam is so cool :)
